Ramón Olegario Lantigua Estevez Nacio el 6 del mes de  Abril del 1961, en la Comunidad de Chacuey, provincia Dajabon, Hijo de los Señores: Ramón Alcides Lantigua Cruz y Mercedes Estevez Caba.

Es el quinto de los siete hermanos, creado en la familia Lantigua Estevez.

En el  Transcurrir del tiempo formo su matrimonio con la Sra. Lilian Mercedes Garcia, donde procrearon tres hijos y una fuera del matrimonio.

En su formación de estudios curso el Bachillerato en el año 1980-1981 en el Liceo Padre Manuel Gonzalez Quevedo.

Desde ese entonces se dedico al trabajo de topografo, como también vendedor de Repuestos, Comerciante y Ganadero.

Desde años 2002 hasta la fecha ha sido electo como Alcalde (Cuatro Periodos Consecutivos).

Logros:

1- Convertir el municipio de partido un pueblo limpio, Educando los Municipes.

2- Integración Municipal.

3- El 95% de las Comunidades del Municipio tienen sus Acueductos.

4- Transporte Escolar Permanente.

5- Funeraria.

6-Bomberos.

7-Defensa Civil.

8-Cruz Roja.

9-Sistema de Ambulancia.
